Your replacement Apple Watch will be new or equivalent to new. If your original Apple Watch was damaged by accident or abuse, service might not be available.
Screen damage
If your Apple Watch screen breaks accidentally, you might have the option to replace your Apple Watch for an out-of-warranty fee. The Apple warranty doesn’t cover damage caused by accident or abuse.
If you have AppleCare+, it includes up to two incidents of accidental damage, each with a service fee. You can use each incident for screen damage.
Battery service
Your Apple Watch battery service might be covered by your warranty, AppleCare+, or consumer law. Otherwise, we offer out-of-warranty battery service.
Other services
Your Apple Watch might be eligible for other out-of-warranty services. If it was severely damaged in an accident or it’s inoperable after unauthorized modifications, it’s not eligible for out-of-warranty service. We might be able to replace your Apple Watch for the replacement value instead.
AppleCare+
If you have AppleCare+ and use an incident of accidental damage, you'll pay a service fee.
