Daria Mikita at burnt stew computing

Daria Mikita

Bilingual Senior Apple Technician / Office Manager

I am originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. I enjoy the outdoors as well as photography. As for Whistler sports, I love mountain biking and snowboarding. I used to also be a national team athlete in fencing traveling the world, but was unable to continue due to an injury. I love all kinds of animals and enjoy to play bass guitar in my spare time. I have a bilingual university degree from University of Manitoba in Anthropology, however I have a huge love for Apple products and helping people get to know them better. I love meeting new people and am always happy to help! If you run into me in the village don’t be afraid to say hi!

I have worked for many businesses over the years, from providing technical support and customer service to managing the whole Canadian IT department for a global company. I have great software troubleshooting skills as well as hardware troubleshooting. In the winter of 2014 I travelled to Toronto to complete my Certification for Apple Certified Macintosh Technician and passed all required certifications to qualify me as fully certified ACMT that includes the iOS mobile component to troubleshoot iDevices. I am looking forward to working with Burnt Stew Computer Solutions and meeting all the Apple users in Whistler while providing service and support in my role.

Colby At Burnt Stew Computers

Colby Moffett

Customer Services and Support Guru

After living in different parts of Canada and in Australia for 5 years, Colby eventually was able to call Whistler his home. He has been living here for the last 6 years and has been loving every minute of it. Skiing in the winter and hiking/camping in the summer, Colby has been fully able to take advantage of what Whistler has to offer. With his love for landscape photography and street photography Whistler and the Sea to Sky Corridor offers a variety of scenes and subjects for his work.

Colby has worked with computers since he could remember. Learning the complexities of what the computer can offer has been an ongoing goal for him and mastering it has been a priority. Throughout school, Colby studied graphic design and software development, later combining the two to study Web development. Teaching others about what he has learned has always been something that he never thought twice about doing. Colby hopes to continue to learn and teach people about what Apple and their line of devices has to offer.
